Our first view of The Brack as we climbed away from the car park and the forest
Picking our way through boulders as the climb became steeper
The view back to Cnoc Coinnich as we continued our climb
We continued up the southwest ridge of The Brack but stopped for coffee before reaching the summit
We stopped for lunch near the summit and had this view of Loch Long, the Gareloch and the Clyde
We were lucky to have such good weather with Ailsa Craig clearly visible over 65 miles away

Our descent took us along the ‘usual’ descent path back to the forest
