Due to weather conditions the leader decided to return to Luss from Beinn Eich and to omit Doune Hill

After the long walk-in along Glen Luss we started to climb above Edentaggart Farm through the bracken
It was a long and arduous climb although we stopped for our morning break near the rocky gully seen here
Eventually we reached the summit after several false summits
For a short time the weather improved as we headed down towards Glen Luss but the cloud never cleared the nearby summits and the rain returned as we approached the glen
There was a good path hidden in the bracken
Almost back at Edentaggart Farm and the road back to Luss
