The first part of our walk took us on forest tracks down Glen Croe and we had this view of the Croe Water viaduct on the A83
When we left the forest track we started to climb through the forest. The path was easy to follow despite the fallen trees
We had our morning tea break when we emerged from the forest before heading towards the Bealach Dubh-lic
As we climbed the view improved but before long we climbed into the cloud. We had a last look along Glen Croe towards the Rest and be Thankful before climbing along the North Ridge of Ben Donich

Our route down followed the popular direct path to the car park and involved some easy scrambling as we climbed the ‘difficult step’
Throughout our walk we had seen numerous rainbows of varying intensity. Here we see one over Loch Restil as we descend from Ben Donich
