Dumbrock or Ebbie’s (Abies) Loch with Dumgoyne and Dumfoyne reflected in the still waters
After crossing Drumbrock Muir the group are studied by a highlan’ coo
These animals are part of the land management strategy to preserve the species-rich grassland habitat. This habitat has largely disappeared from Scotland due to modern farming practices but is necessary for wild flowers such as harebell, lesser twayblade, hay rattle, lady’s mantle and cat’s ear.
